Yardage: Uses a total of 90 yards of any yarn with the correct gauge. Or mix and match left overs and do random stripes.  For Hat and Glovees you need a total of 220 yards.

Gauge: 15 stitches = 4" in stockinet on US #10 needle)

Finished Measurements: Chest 40 (45)"  Length of 23 (25)"

Accessories Needed: US #10 16" circular hat needles, US# 9 or 10 double pointed needles (optional) tapestry needle - 

DETAILS:   This patterns offers a super basic, simple hat with four different edge (style) options so you can follow option 1 (rolled brim) while you are learning to knit and then move on to make the hat in different yarns, in different colors with different edgings!  Glove pattern included too!   You can use this pattern over and over again!  For child's size, simple make it 1" shorter before shaping the top decreases.
